Kingsbere Kitchen – Our History

KINGSBERE KITCHEN A BRIEF HISTORY

We started in June 2012 at Bartletts Country Store just behind the roundabout with the A35 and A31 at Bere Regis, with thoughts of serving the spectators on their way to the Olympic sailing at Weymouth. Our ethos was simple, to sell good quality, locally sourced, hot food. Meat from a local butcher, bread from a local bakery and free range eggs from the local farm shop. Not being able to afford a catering trailer, we started with a gazebo, and got on with it!

As well at Bartletts, we catered for a local working dog trials, Poole Fire Station charity open day and a charity event for Rogershill Raceway.

We upgraded the gazebo to a catering trailer and with the skills of one of our customers, a local artist, Alice Blogg, we transformed the trailer and are now delighted with how it looks.

In December 2013 we took over a well established Fish and Chip business you see on our website, but we continue to use both trailers for events including shows, fetes, parties, weddings etc.

We continue to stick to our ethos of good quality, locally sourced quality food, whether its Fish and Chips, Burgers, Hotdogs or maybe some of our speciality burgers (not for the faint hearted!) we know you will not be disappointed.

Give us a call or email us and we will aim to provide your function with the finest quality food for your event.

We look forward to hearing from you.

CHEERS!!
